About Adam

As a 6th generation farmer in Corryton, my family has deep roots in the 8th District. Having farmed our land first as a dairy and now as a beef operation, I know the importance of hard work and self-sufficiency. I am a Gibbs High graduate with a degree in Animal Science from the University of Tennessee. I have been encouraged by many of you to run for Knox County Commission so that I can be a strong voice for the 8th District. Ensuring that your values are respected and your opinions are heard is important to me. I am humbled to accept this opportunity to represent you on Knox County Commission and I am asking for your help.

We have seen a lot of changes in the world over the past few years and we know more changes are coming. Having a vision for the future and being prepared for the coming changes is critical.

I pledge to do my part to be accessible and a good representative commissioner for the 8th District. I am asking for your support, vote, and prayers as I seek this important role in the Knox County government. Please visit my website at electadamthompson.com to request a sign, volunteer to help with my campaign, or make a contribution. Early voting runs from February 14th to the 27th, and election day is March 5th. I would be grateful and humbled to have your vote.
